The drama unfolded at the Stovner Bingo parlour in Oslo Sunday night.

A 59-year-old man has had a rib broken in an attack by four men as he walked home from a bingo hall in Dundee. He had reached Whitfield Drive when he was grabbed from behind, pulled to the ground, assaulted and had a two-figure sum of money stolen. The suspects were all aged about 19 and were wearing dark tracksuits and trainers.

Bahrain Scrabble League (BSL) committee has scrapped methods setting qualifying procedures according to ratings, rankings or a first-come-first-served sign-up basis in favor of a contest.

Woman Charged With Stealing $17G of VFW Bingo Money A former treasurer who oversaw bingo games has been indicted on 97 counts of diverting funds and forgery. A grand jury charged Julie L. Weedman, 36, of Evarts, last week. Weedman is the former treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Lodge 11139 in Middlesboro. The missing funds came to light in the fall of 2006, when a bank notified the charity's president, Patricia Howard, that a check bounced.

Weeks later, "over handing her a cup of coffee I grabbed her hand and said, I'm a match. And I want to donate to you," said barista Sandra Andersen.
The women both started crying with a long line of waiting customers wondering what was happening.
"The world just stopped," described Ausness. "It was just her and I for a moment."
"Life's just too short not to live it, you know?" said Andersen. "So, if I can help somebody else do that, it's a good thing."
