Residents of the retirement community look forward to more activity than usual when the High School students help with the game. "The last time we were here, we had applause and a standing ovation," said junior E F, a member of South High's National Honor Society and Key Club, the school's service organization. The young people spin the bingo wheel and call out the numbers or play along with the residents. "They like being visited. They're all really nice and it's fun," one student said.

Bingo fan and world's oldest bridesmaid dies
ONE of Medway's oldest citizens has died at the age of 106.
Edith Gulliford passed away with her family at her bedside several days after a fall at her Strood home.
She was known for having a great zest for life and celebrated her 106th birthday last year playing bingo at the Gala Club in Strood.
In March this year she found herself in the Guinness Book of Records for being the oldest bridesmaid in the world when she was an attendant at her great-granddaughter's wedding.

Sen. Gil Cedillo, D-Los Angeles, canceled a public hearing set for today on a measure to allow churches, charities and nonprofits to run interconnected games that could offer prizes well above the current $250 limit. Cedillo said he has not given up on the legislation, SB 1328, and will take time to meet with Indian tribal leaders in an effort to allay their concerns.

Bingo Dabbers: Great Art Tool for Toddlers Bingo dabbers can be found at almost any dollar store. They come in lots of different colors, and make a great art tool for any toddler. I set the table up the same way I do for a painting project because they can still be a bit messy. ( An old plastic shower curtain makes a great table covering.) Then we grab some paper, throw on paint shirts, and the kids go to town. They have way too much fun and every picture turns out unique!

What is a Bingo Club?
It is not a pay site.
You love bingo! You know first-hand the downsides of online pay site bingo! You have probably seen a bingo chat room get really ugly because someone wins a jackpot. Accusations of cheating and house players are constant irritations. How disappointing it is, never seeming to win and watching your money drain out of your account game by game. In gambling, even soft gambling, you run the risk of spending over your limit. And don't even get me started about the hassle of cashing out! Such stress! Who needs it?
It is not a free site.
But you love bingo, so you try a free bingo where you play and play and play to win a billion points for what? Nothing it seems. The chat room is at best boring as there are no chat games being that most of the time there are no chat monitors. Which is a whole other problem, some free sites have the nastiest chat rooms! And the sites are simply boring, because the software is ancient and they seem to play the same bingo patterns over and over. And cheating is there too! Now everyone is being ripped off by the auto mousers!

My brother Kevin thinks God lives under his bed. At least that's what I heard him say one night. He was praying out loud in his dark bedroom, and I stopped outside his closed door to listen.
"Are you there, God?" he said. "Where are you? Oh, I see. Under the bed." I giggled softly and tiptoed off to my own room.
Kevin's unique perspectives are often a source of amusement. But that night something else lingered long after the humor. I realized for the first time the very different world Kevin lives in. He was born 30 years ago, mentally disabled as a result of difficulties during labor.

More than 10,000 camels from all across the Gulf region gathered in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi, on the outskirts of Zayed City for the opening of Mazayin Dhafra Camel Festival, which started on Wednesday and will continue until April 10.
The first three winners of each round received a 4x4 vehicle (first position), a Toyota pick-up (second position) and cash prize of Dh30,000 (third prize). The afternoon session was seriously threatened by strong winds that were stirring the dust high up into the air, but the winds moved away, the VIP guests arrived and the show went on.

Police said a man grabbed the purse from the woman during the incident, which took place on Wednesday evening at around 9pm. Officers said he is described as being white, around 5ft 10in tall, with a thin face. He is believed to be in his 20s and spoke with a local accent. He was wearing a hat, a light colored fleece jacket with a navy sweatshirt underneath, jeans and light colored trainers.
