I made a raw coconut-ginger-carrot salad from a cooked vegie recipe and it was toooo onion-y.
So I blended it in a blender and used it as a dressing on avocado. YUM!

An active voice for the advancement of charitable bingo
Texas Association for the Advancement of Charitable Bingo formed
The Association will become an active voice for the advancement of charitable bingo before the Texas Lottery Commission and the Legislature and will actively pursue rulemaking and legislative initiatives which benefit charitable bingo. The Association will coordinate closely with the TLC Charitable Bingo Operations Division and other like-minded industry organizations such as the Texas Charity Advocates.

Man Arrested After Fight At Bingo
Man Arrested After Fight At Bingo Parlor Deputies responded to a fight at South of the Border Bingo last Wednesday and arrested a man they said hit another man with a chair. Deputies said B.H. suffered a laceration to his head when A.M, 47, struck him with a chair. H's injury was not life-threatening. Police said M. was charged with misdemeanor assault and released.

Do fruit lovers eat more sweets?
A U.S. study suggests people who like sweets eat more fruit than salty-snack lovers and people who love fruit eat more sweets than vegetable lovers.
"If we know a person likes one type of food, this kind of study helps us better predict what other types of foods he or she might prefer," said Brian Wansink, director of the Cornell University Food and Brand Lab.
Wansink says by better understanding how various foods are linked by preference, marketing strategies could be incorporated into an educational program to increase the consumption of fruit.
To discover how much fruit the sweet and salty-snack lovers ate, Wansink used the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Continuing Survey of Food Intakes by Individuals.
To determine whether fruit lovers eat more sweets than vegetable lovers, Wansink analyzed the results of a snack consumption survey of 770 individuals.

Bingo helps bring back memories for elderly - icWales
Care home have been given a selection of nostalgic games. The games have been made specifically for older people and include such favorites as bingo. But the collection, which was given by Rotary Club, also includes new games that use vintage props such as classic men’s razors, 10 shilling notes and darning mushrooms. Some specialized games for the home’s dementia care suite were also provided. “We are extremely grateful for the support of the Rotarians. The games have gone down really well with the residents.”
