353 people were detained when Thai police raided an illegal casino.

According to BBC a raid on an illegal casino in the capital resulted in 353 people detained.

"Officers said helicopters allowed the police to force access to the well-protected complex from the air."

"They had six well-protected gates and six secret exits, so it would have taken more than an hour to access it by ordinary means," he said.

"Tables for roulette and baccarat, as well as slot machines, were seized in the operation."

"Gen Vinai said that all 353 people detained during the raid would be prosecuted on gambling charges and would face prison terms and fines if convicted."
