Casino linked to heroin cartel and money laundering

The police think that a heroin cartel used a casino for money laundering.

According to the Herald Sun the police arrested 13 people and seized heroin worth $1m.

"Nine people were expected to be charged with drug trafficking offences last night after police seized an estimated $1 million worth of high-grade heroin."

"Also seized was a large amount of cash, casino chips with values ranging up to $5000, powder used to mix with heroin, a money-counting machine and computer hard drives."
