However, some warders are reported to have criticized the move, which they say is turning the prison into a "fun park" for criminals. Some warders have said that the prison is "getting like Butlins", while others have argued that there should be more focus on educational programs for prisoners rather than bingo nights. The Scottish Prison Service said: "We're looking to provide a range of activities for prisoners."
